Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Manila

Your flight lands at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. You are transferred to the hotel for well-deserved rest and relaxation
Day 2

Manila

Take a step back in time as you discover the “Charms of Old Ma-nila”. Visit to historic Rizal Park, Fort Santiago which served as headquarters of the military, San Agustin Church, the oldest structure in the country. The next stop is Casa Manila, a reconstructed 19th century mansion. The other half of Manila is a modern metropolis. visit the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex. including Philippine International Convention Center and Folk Arts Theater. Then proceeds to the financial and commercial center of Makati. Next stop, the Ayala Museum, it is an art and history museum. The last stop is the American Memorial Cemetery, the largest and most beautiful outside continental U.S. (B)
Day 3

Manila--Corregidor Island--Manila

Morning departure for Corregidor, the island fortress, is a 1-hour ferryboat ride from the Manila breakwaters. Located 26 miles West of Manila, the “Rock” was the last Filipino-American bastion to fall to the Japanese during WWII. The tour includes a guided visit to the island’s many “silent guns” and historical landmarks. The stirring Light and Sound Show inside the cavernous Malinta Tunnel, which served as General Douglas McArthur’s headquarters during the siege, should not be missed. Return to Manila after lunch. Day 4

Manila

Explore Manila on your own. Visit Mall of Asia. For bargain items, try Greenhills Shopping Center or Tutuban Center. Or, for the young and the young at heart, visit Manila Ocean Park. (B)
Day 5

Manila--Cebu

After breakfast, take a short flight to Cebu, the “Queen City of the South” is the Philippines’ second major gateway and one of its prime destinations. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure. (B)
Day 6

Cebu

This morning, visit Cebu’s historical sites and landmarks: Fort San Pedro, the oldest triangular fortress in the country built in 1565; Magellan’s Cross, planted on April 14, 1521 by Ferdinand Magellan; Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, Cebu’s old-est church built by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi in 1565, now housing the statuette of the Santo Niño; Casa Gorordo Museum, former house of the first Bishop of Cebu; the Taoist Temple, located in the Beverly Hills, overlooking the city of Cebu and Mactan. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure. (B,L)
Day 7

Cebu--Island Hopping Tour

A visit to Cebu is not complete without cruising the islands of Mactan on board a local motorized banca. Swim of snorkel off the islands of Hi-lutungan, Nalusuan or go bird-watching of Olango Island. Have a barbecue lunch at Nalusuan Island. It is recommended that rubber slippers or booties be worn. Barbecue lunch, boat ride, and return transfers to Cebu City hotels or Mactan resorts are included. (B,L)

Departure Cebu

Transfer to airport and take our homebound flight to home. (B)
