Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Beijing

Your flight lands at Beijing – the capital of China. You are transferred to the hotel for well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Day 2

Beijing

After breakfast, full day excursion to Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world; then Forbidden City which is the imperial palace of Ming & Qing Dynasty; last stop at the Temple of Heaven, here ancient emperors prayed for good harvest. Afternoon enjoy a Peking Roasted Duck lunch and you can choose the Peking Opera Show or Chinese Kungfu Show as optional in the evening. (B,L)
Day 3

Beijing

This morning tour stars from the Summer Palace, the largest Royal Garden in China. En route, visit the Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization. The longest man-made object in the world. On the way back to the downtown, you’ll have an external visit at Olympic Village. (B,L)
Day 4

Beijing—Xian

Morning explore the typical Chinese quadrangles and old buildings in Hutongs by taking rickshaws. Stroll in the narrow Hutongs to experience the real life of local people. After a lunch in a typical Beijing resident’s house, transfer to the railway station for bullet train to Xian. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to hotel. Enjoy a Dumpling Dinner tonight. Day 5

Xian

Full day excursion to the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. The army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Win’s tomb. Thereafter, visit the Ancient City Wall and the Courtyard of Family Gao with Shadow Puppet Show. Optional Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in the evening. (B,L)
Day 6

Xian—Lhasa

Morning transfer to airport for flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. (B,L)
Day 7

Lhasa

Today you visit the architectural wonder and Lhasa’s landmark, Potala Palace. After exploring this exquisite palace we venture to the Barkhor Street, the colorful old section of Lhasa lined with street stalls and local handicrafts. Continue to visit Jokhang Monastery, the spiritual heart of the city and Tibet’s most important pilgrimage site. (B,L)
Day 8

Lhasa

Full day sightseeing in Lhasa by visiting the Drepung Monastery, once world’s largest monastery; the Norbulingka Park, was Dalai Lama’s summer palace, and the Sera Monastery, one of Lhasa’s two great gelugpa monasteries. En-route visit the Carpet Factory. (B,L)
Day 9

Lhasa—Shanghai

Free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel for rest. (B,L)
Day 10

Shanghai

Today visit the Bund and classical Yu Garden which was built 400 years ago, is an ancient private garden of Ming & Qing Dynasties. Continuous to the Jade Buddha Temple and Nanjing Road, enjoy the reputation of “China’s No.1 Street”. Optional Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B,L)
Day 11

Depart Shanghai

Transfer to the airport for flight to your next destination. (B)
