Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Beijing

Your flight lands at Beijing – the capital of China. You are transferred to the hotel for well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Day 2

Beijing

Morning program begins with Tian An Men Square, the largest city square in the world. Then proceed to the Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years, housing numerous precious art objects. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace, a well-preserved Royal Garden of Qing Dynasty. Optional Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck dinner US$60 per person. (B,L)
Day 3

Beijing

This morning start tours to the Badaling Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization. The longest man-made object in the world, this 2,000-year landmark is an astonishing feat of engineering. En route visit a Jade carving factory followed by a photo-stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube, both are the main Olympic Stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games.  (B,L)
Day 4

Beijing

In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complexes in China and a paradigm of Chinese architectural balance and symbolism. After visit a Pearl factory, take a Hutong tour by rickshaw with a home visit to explore the real Beijing life style. (B,L)
Day 5

Being--Xian

Today fly to Xian. Upon arrival, meet and start tours to Provincial Museum where you can learn a lot about the 5,000 years brilliant history of China. Continuous to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is one of the best preserved Buddhist temples in China. (B,L)
Day 6

Xian

Today’s highlight is a visit to the Archaeological Museum with Cotta Warriors and Horses excavated from the tomb of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty. Then visit the Ceramics & Pottery Center. Tonight, enjoy a Dumpling Dinner & Tang Dynasty Show. (B,L,SD)
Day 7

Xian--Chongqing

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival, meet and visit the Panda Zoo. It serves as both a reserve and the base of the breeding program for giant pandas, lesser pandas, South China tigers, and other endangered species, After a Sichuan Hot Pot Dinner, your Yangtze River adventure starts as you board your ship for a fascinating adventure down the mighty Yangtze. Day 8

Yangtze River Cruise (Three Gorges)

Start our sail for a distance of 430 miles in all the great gorges and deep mountain valleys. Optional shore excursion in the morning to the ghost city of Fengdu, Visit the Shibaozhai in the afternoon. (B,L,D)
Day 9

Yangtze River Cruise (Three Gorges)

Sailing into the Qutang Gorges and Wu Gorge, and the river changes to wildly stirring, riffle water along with swirling bubblies. When the boat gets to the famed Shennong Stream, we change to a small boat and sail deep into the Shennong Stream. Then, we return to our cruise and continue sailing into the Xiling Gorge. (B,L,D)
Dau 10

Yangtze River Cruise—Yichang—Shanghai

Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site and pass through the 5 ship locks with lowering our boat down 412 feet, before we end our cruise at Yichang. Transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel for rest. (B,L)
Day 11

Shanghai

Today, take a full day city tour to visit the Yu Garden, a place of peace and comfort in the heart of bustling Shanghai; the Bund, known as a miniature museum of international architecture with dozens of high buildings standing along he shore; Shanghai Museum, as one of the largest Museums in China; and Xintiandi & Pudong New Development Zone. Optional Acrobatic Show with dinner US$60 per person. (B,L)
Day 12

Shanghai—Suzhou—Shanghai

Today’S excursion is to the water town Suzhou. The city’s canals, stone bridges, pagodas and meticulously designed gardens have contributed to its status as one of the top tourist attraction in China. Tour to the Garden of Net Master,  the smallest but the most impressive classic garden in Suzhou. Cruise on the Grand Canal, shop at the Silk spinning factory and the Pingjiang Road Old Town Area. Day 13

Depart Shanghai

Transfer to airport and take your homebound flight to home. (B)
