Day 1

Arrive Ho Chi Minh

Your flight lands at Ho Chi Minh, was named Saigon . You are transferred to the hotel for well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Day 2

Ho Chi Minh

Begin with a tour of the historic centre, strolling along Dong Khoi Street, pass by classic European-style landmarks such as the ornate City Hall, the old Opera House and pay a quick visit to the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Afterwards dive into modern history with a tour of the Reunification Palace. Continue to the harrowing War Remnants Museum and the Emperor Of Jade Pagoda, one of Saigon's most interesting pagodas.  Afternoon is free at leisure. (B)
Day 3

Ho Chi Minh

Drive to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels which were an important Vietcong base during the American War. Today, walk through the area and learn about the day to day life of the Vietcong. Afterward, visit Cholon (Chinatown). Explore the highlights of this fascinating area beginning with the Chinese Medicine Market and the buzzing streets around Binh Tay market, the vast wholesale market selling every kind of goods from dried foods, T-shirts, to electronics. Continue to Thien Hau Pagoda, built by the Cantonese congregation and dedicated to the heavenly goddess. (B)
Day 4

Ho Chi Minh

After a journey through Ben Luc and Tan An, proceed to Ben Tre to take a boat trip on the Mekong River to Vam Xep canal where local handicrafts and coconut sweets are produced. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, a performance of traditional songs, and observe the local life. Take a short ride on motor cart to a typical local house to taste some homemade honey-tea. Proceed by sampan through the small canals to observe the daily life of local people along the riverbanks with some stops for a leisurely stroll. (B)
Day 5

Ho Chi Minh—Hue

Take a morning flight to Hue. Upon arrival, visit the Imperial Tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Both are the most majestic imperial tomb of throughout Vietnam. Afterwards, explore the Imperial City by visiting the Imperial Citadel, a vast complex built in the early 19th century. Approach the city past the striking Flag Tower, to the imposing Ngo Mon Gate, the main entrance to the Imperial Enclosure; visit Dien Tho Palace and Thai Hoa Palace. Lastly, visit to the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum. (B)
Day 6

Hue—Hoi An

Drive south from Hue along scenic mountain roads with spectacular views over the coastline. Highlights along the way include the dramatic Hai Van Pass, the high dividing line between the climate zones of North and South Vietnam; Lang Co, a lovely stretch of beach curving outwards between a clear blue lagoon and the East Vietnam Sea; and the large coastal city of Danang. Day 7

Hoi An

Today take a walking tour to explore the exquisitely preserved merchant town of Hoi An . Visit a traditional private house, a typical Chinese-style Pagoda or assembly hall. Continue to Sa Huynh Museum and a handicraft workshop which is nearby the famous Japanese Covered Bridge. In the afternoon, board a local boat and cruise down the Thu Bon River, enjoy the unspoiled countryside and stop to visit a pottery village and a woodcarving village before returning to Hoi An harbor. Day 8

Hoi An—Danang—Hanoi

After breakfast, transfer to Danang for flight to Hanoi, a blend of long established traditions and modern imprints of Western colonization.  Upon arrival, take 60 minutes ride on an electric car through Quan Su Pagoda, Silk Road, Hanoi Railway Station and Hoa Lo Prison then Hanoi Opera House. Then go to see a Water Puppet Show, a fantastic art form that originated in northern Vietnam, but is now best seen in Hanoi. (B)
Day 9


Leave Hanoi in the morning for scenic Halong Bay. Board the charming traditional wooden junk for a cruise through the bay. The cruise passes by unique rock formations with names such as Stone Dog, Incense Burner (Dinh Huong), and Fighting Cock (Ga Choi). At the core of the islets, there is an unforgettable cave named THIEN CUNG (Heavenly Residence Grotto) which is the last site before returning to Halong pier. Disembark at Halong pier and return to Hanoi by vehicle. (B,L)
Day 10


Explore the city by walking  while it's many beautiful lakes, parks, tree-lined boulevards and monuments. Visit the Temple of Literature where has a peaceful series of walled courtyards and graceful gateway. Explore the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which contains the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. And the Museum of Ethnology brings to life the astonishing ethnic diversity in Vietnam, with art and artefacts. (B)
Day 11

Depart Hanoi

Today, transfer to airport and take your homebound flight to home. (B)
